CORRECTION TO PREVIOUS BLOG: Arctic storm should have read Antarctic storm. SORRY! Just watch out for those Arctic storms coming out of the south Atlantic Jess. the 84foot maxi-racer Anaconda2 rounded Cape Horn in similar conditions in 1975 in the Clipper Ship Race reenactment but was hit by a big storm with 70foot seas as it neared the Falklands. It got knocked down by a 90foot rogue wave coming out of the south and turned 360 degrees before bobbing up again. Despite the conditions it survived because the crew kept calm. Keep all hatches sealed at all times and take extra measures to stay attached if on deck just in case. Paranioa is normal at sea. It means total awareness. Take care.

It's good to see you have made progress around Cape Horn and are safe as well.

My parents in Newcastle wished you the best as well. I would imagine there are more people wishing you sucess who don't post on here as well. The last few days in Canberra have been hot so enjoy the ocean weather which maybe cooler then what we have on land.

No wuckin' forries mate! Everything is "hokey dokey" I wasn't the least bit annoyed at all. It was very funny what you said. I'm sure you've experienced it too, when someone says something really funny just as you're having a drink and, in a burst of laughter, whatever you had in your mouth comes spraying out. I guess I didn't explain it too well the first time and it just went straight over your head and you inadvertently took it as me being annoyed about the mess it made on my screen and keyboard. I mean, let's face it, things are bound to sometimes go straight over your head 'cause like you said there's no hair there. Juusst kidding :-))
Boy! I think I managed to get myself off the hook only to just straight back on again. I think I'll shut up now.

Just wanted to say hello again, I see that you’re getting plenty of advice on the heater, that’s good because maybe there’s a solution in there somewhere. Sometimes the most obvious solution is so easily overlooked. Then again it may be a combination of two (2) or more problems. I hate to sound so negative, but I, and every friend and fan that’s following you, would love to see you get that fixed.
I watched that video on sailing around the Cape and now I’m going to double up on my prayers for you. We talk about the beauty of sailing along and enjoying even the bouncy stuff, but that shows the reality of it. I didn’t think it was real bad, but it was rough. I can’t say I’m not worried about you handling it, I know you can, but I’m gonna worry anyway. LOL…….
Just stay warm the best you can ‘cause the cold will sap your strength fast.

I dreamed of a boat like yours when I was twenty and red the epopee of three French guys in the 70 that made a round-the world trip with very limited means and a 30` boat Gérard Janichon et Jérôme Poncet on Damien). Now, very difficult to inspire next generation, but...

Good morning Jessica. Man was the was the Tennis Open really good last night, WOW it was like looking at a a final, but there is a long way to go yet! Justine Henin has come back after about 18 months off & she won her games last night & put the 5th seed out of the competition, GOOD Tennis. I have my Atlas out & I watching just where you are, it still looks a large strip of water BUT you are going really well.WOW WOW WOW Sometimes I can't get my head around it. as to how AMAZING you are. Well done rounding that one!!! :-) Now don't forget, wave when passing the Cape - we'll wave back with great gusto!
