Yesterday was the last day of SB3 racing and we finished off on a high by placing third in the final race.
Today Mike, Sean and I (Matt stayed back to study!) headed out on four-time Sydney Hobart line honours winner Wild Oats XI to sail against the super yachts.
The crew were a great bunch and Wild Oats is totally in another league to Pink Lady and anything I’m used to!Planing along at 17knots under kite between the islands in the Whitsundays isn’t something to complain about and a great way to finish my week off.
Tomorrow I’m back on book tour and headed to Mackay in North Queensland with a croaky throat again. I know this was meant to be my week off – must have been too much yelling at the crew!

The last copy on the shelf at Barnes and Noble. We Americans could use
waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more information about Jessica's stops here in the USA.
Also. how to buy a copy of the dvd of her trip. There are thousands and thousands of people here who followed her faithfully and need to get ahold of the book and dvd and see her tv appearances. Looking at the Simon and Shuster site has been not all that helpful. Just need more info, eh? Okay, have to close as I'm retreating to the comfy chair with True Spirit. All the best to all of you.
Keep giving us updates about what's going on with Jess's lfe as she would choose to share) as we feel like she's our daughter too. Minnesota Mom

Its nice to hear your going to the States, Hope all goes well for you there, you might meet some of your bloggers. There are a few that were regulars from over there.
My kids gave me your CD210 the doco.
I watched it last night and it brought back memories of your trip, some good ones and some worrying ones.
Sir Richard Bran son sure did a good job on it for you.
After watching it all the memories of the trip are foremost in my mind.
Have a good trip and take care.

We can tell you that the American Jessaholics are just so excited to meet you, and with good reason, they have all been wonderful supporters of you for such a long time now, and we in Australia are genuinely pleased that they will finally meet you. Have a sensational time with them and we can’t wait for their “brag” photos to come back.
And how about the Mini !! how good is that, and the lessons from Geoff Brabham. We know that you will treat you new car with the same respect as you did with Ella’s Pink Lady, you are just that sort of girl.
Have a great time in the US Jesse dear, and say hi to all OUR friends over there, and please keep blogging to let’s know how your tour is going.
Happy Fathers Day to Roger !!
