Pic: Smoked oysters, mussels, olives, pickled onions, cheese and crackers! Why? It's a long story. See the latest blog at http://www.bountyboat.blogspot.com/ for all the details. Oh, and for the record, I wasn't bragging!

Another ocean crossed and cape passed, congratulations. Liked the pic the other day of you taking it easy, seemed like all hair and legs (not hairy legs mind you, although in the Southern Ocean who cares?)
The Indian Ocean can be a very vicious place as Dame Ellen MacArthur notes in a book of her's I'm now reading entitled Race Against Time in which she gives a daily account in her '04 attempt at setting the fastest solo, non-stop circumnavigation in a 60' trimaran built for her.
So keep vigilant and take good care of EPL.
Fair winds....You can do it!

I have just finished The Graped Of Wrath, so perhaps it's apt to call you the Preacher. I have grown with your comments. You are eloquent and your faith is comforting, and it will be that warm strong arm that will surprise and guide a stranger in any time of need. And you will make that stranger feel so damn grateful, and humbled that love has arrived from nowhere to pick them up. The world needs more people like you. Run for office. David

Oysters and mussels as you around the cape, awesome. Well now can you see that big chunk of land far ahead, thats Australia. Thats your home Jess, our home, and we await to give you a huge welcome. You made the front page of the Melbourne Age to-day, so as you near home the momentum will increase. Go Jess, Go!
